Hazelwood Bed and Breakfast is located in the picturesque seaside town of Howth.  Only 12 kilometres north of Dublin, Beann Eadair -- known as Howth in English, boasts some of the most beautiful scenery in Dublin. Howth's proximity to both Dublin City Centre and the Dublin Airport makes Hazelwood B&B an ideal stop for visitors.

Whether you are staying with us for one night or for a week, you will enjoy the variety of activities in this beautiful harbour village.  Play golf in one of the nine golf courses that are within a radius of 8km, including the world famous Portmarnock Links.  

Howth is home to a range of fine restaurants and pubs like the King Sitric, Aqua, El Paso and Beshoff's Fish and Chips.  Or try one of the chic eateries in Howth Village, like Cibo, The Country Market, or The Big Blue.

In the evenings, stop in for the nightly Irish jam session in the Abbey Tavern on Howth Hill, or for a pint in one of Howth's lively traditional pubs — The Pier House, The Summit Inn, The Bloody Stream.  Or, for people watching, try one of the trendy bars: Ella, Ba Mizu, or the Skyy Bar at Findlaters.

Shoppers can find elegant giftware at Indigo, Yonka facials at the Howth Haven Day Spa, and find the latest fashions in Howth's many boutiques along the seafront.  Golfers should check out McGuirk's golf shop for special offers.

Children will enjoy the playground next to Howth Yacht Club, or a soft-serve ice cream cone from any of the newsagents and cafes on the seafront. At noon each day, local fishmongers Nicky's Plaice puts out leftover fish to feed the seals at the harbour in front of the shop, but there is no barrier, so hang on to the little ones.
